About the shop

A shop that shows its work.

Erik Halden opened two bays on Larimer in 2009 with a simple idea: if customers could see what the technician sees, they would never feel sold to.

Our story.

Erik spent twelve years at a dealership watching good customers leave confused by bills they did not understand. Halden Auto Works started with a camera, a phone and a promise to explain every repair.

Today we are eight bays and a team of fourteen, still family-run, and still sending a photo before any part comes off.

They texted me photos of my brake pads next to new ones. First time I have ever understood what I was paying for.

They said my rear brakes could wait another six months and didn’t charge me to look. That is why I keep coming back.

Booked online at 7pm, dropped the car at 8 the next morning, picked it up at lunch. Exactly the price they quoted.
